Camping trial run

In the beginning of August we spontaneously decided to try pitching a tent in the backyard on a Friday night to see if the kids would sleep in it (with Mark of course) all night. We want to try real camping with them, but we weren't sure how successful it would be...so this was a trial run I guess! They were all VERY excited about it as we had talked about it a lot in the past. They thought it was so cool to set up the tent and get out the sleeping bags. And they even lasted until about 2 am...then Annie woke everyone up and she wanted to come inside. So everyone came inside! But a few minutes later Annie decided she wanted to go back out, but it was too late as everyone was back in their beds. She threw a good 30 minute fit and I didn't get the last child to sleep until 4:30 am!! I think we will have more success next summer:)

Annie's 1st time at the dentist!

Annie had her 1st dentist appointment a few weeks ago and did PERFECTLY!!!! I mean perfect. She did everything they asked, sat still, opened her mouth, was charmingly cute....I knew it was going to go one way or the other and I'm so glad it went this way! It probably helped that the twins were there to literally cheer her on! And no cavities!
