Bubbles!!

>> Friday, January 7, 2011

We got Elizabeth a bath time bubble/music machine for Christmas. We decided to try it out on some nieces and nephews 1st. I can't tell...but I think they liked it.....
Then we tried it on Elizabeth, who was clearly very, very tired, but who enjoyed it anyway! And then Mark. Too many bubbles at first were getting in his eyes:
But then he was able to catch some, it was a good time!

Christmas Morning

>> Tuesday, January 4, 2011

Mark and Elizabeth were the 1st ones up at 6 am, which meant we had time to dress them up in their Santa outfits (courtesy of Aunt Anna) and take some pictures! They looked SO cute, I could hardly stand it!!
Here is Mark, sorry Shaylynne that he was playing with one of your Lego pieces!
And Elizabeth too....
Here's our happy little girl/Santa!!!
The kids were up at this point and she just sat and watched.
Here I am chillin' with my 2 little Santa's!
And finally it's present time! We started with the biggest one and it was for both of them.
I thought they would like this toy...but they LOVED IT!!!!
As you can see in this picture, they couldn't even look up!
And then came Elizabeth's present from Grandma T....her beloved baby doll!!!! We had no idea she would love this giggly little baby doll so much, but just look at her (and Shay's) reaction to it! She was laughing and kissing the baby like crazy!!

Ok, ok enough about my babies. Here are some other shots of happy people on Christmas morning!
Jena:
Shaylynne:
Monica and Micah (twins) looking pretty cool:
A very excited Liam:
Brothers!
And finally new phones for Mom and Dad!
We had such a great Christmas, it truly is so much more fun with kids. I hope the twins enjoyed their 1st Christmas too, it sure seemed like they did!

Sugarbowl + More Christmas Eve fun

Every year it's a tradition to attend a high school basketball tournament called the Sugarbowl. Raymond is usually really good and this year they destroyed every team, it was actually a bit boring because they were so much better than the other teams...but go Comets! I went to these tournaments all the time growing up and so I thought I better bring the whole family to atleast one game! Elizabeth had a blast, she was clapping a lot. Little Mark on the other hand was a bit grumpy, he knows when it's his nap time and he doesn't care what else we're doing..he just wants to sleep! He did have fun hanging out with Grandpa though and those two really bonded. Thanks to my mom, Karrie and Mark for watching the kids throughout the 2 days so that I (and sometimes Mark) could attend, you guys are the best!! And thanks to Dad for the tickets:)
So many people to watch!
I know this is a blurry picture but I just had to get an action shot!Because of our move all of my sewing stuff was in storage and so I thought when I got to my mom's house I could sew up the stockings there....I grossly underestimated just how late and sleepless my nights would be! I tried really, really hard to get them done, but in order to avoid a complete meltdown I decided to put them away and sew them after Christmas, sorry kiddos!
We had forgotten to do the traditional Christmas Eve pj present opening but luckily the kids decided to wake up at 11:30 pm to party, so we got to open them just before the clock struck 12!

Now that we are home there will be more catch up posts to come!!

We love us some babies.....

So much so that we are having another one!!!!! Just one this time around (this pic is from Oct.)and he/she will be arriving in June. We are so excited, this is another little miracle baby for us and we feel so blessed that Heavenly Father sees us fit enough to care for another one of His little ones. We can't wait for the little peanut to join our family!
