32 weeks!

I was a little nervous going to this ultrasound/appointment. 32 weeks and 3 days is when the twins were born and my 28 week appointment was showing some small concerns....but to my surprise/relief everything was GREAT! I even lost a pound, how does that happen?! Girlie has finally flipped head down instead of breach which is great, but not great for pictures:( Her head was turned towards my spine so we couldn't get any face pictures this time around, no matter how hard we tried..we even had Grandma T there (which was so exciting and awesome!). She is in the 30th percentile for growth and weighed 4 lbs. 6 oz. I was still measuring a few weeks ahead (35 to be exact).
As I'm writing this I'm actually 33 weeks along but it was right at 32 where the misery of the 3rd trimester started! I'm still nowhere near as big or uncomfortable as I was with the twins believe it or not. For example I can still put my pants on standing up, I can sit and put my own socks on and I haven't had to convert to wearing flip flops 24/7! However I do have extremely bad back pain, I've never had a back pain in my life and now my lower back gets so bad I can hardly move, sit, lay, walk or stand! Luckily my sis in law Angela is a massage therapist and worked on me and that has helped a little, heat helps a little...but that's about it. It's a constant pain that I don't see going away until after this baby comes (hopefully:).
I get heartburn in the evening and especially when I go to lay down in bed. It's getting a bit more challenging to bend over and to hold both twins on my lap. Elizabeth likes to poke my belly button though which has not popped out yet! My feet and hands get swollen easily now which scares me, I'm a bit paranoid about pre eclampsia! The baby is still really active, especially in the evening hours and after I eat a really good meal, like in the picture below, we had just gotten home from our date night where we ate at The Keg (1st real date since before I got pregnant with the twins), and she was doing flips! I'm enjoying this time and enjoying the fact that everything is going normal and great, we are so excited to meet this little girl!

I have to tell a story about this date night. I have been looking forward to it for weeks, knowing my mom was going to be here to watch the kids. I was all ready to go and we were putting the kids down for bed. Elizabeth drank too much whole milk (we are in the middle of transitioning her) and she threw up all over me and the floor!! My date outfit was ruined, which was probably my mistake for putting it on in the first place while the kids were still awake so I had to change. I ended up finding something cuter in my closet and I finished getting all ready to go, I even put jewelery on...oh ya, I was going all out, haha (the standards have been lowered around here, for a while now actually:)!! I walk out and Mark takes one look at me and says..'hey look at you, you like put make up on or something.' Such a man. We had the BEST time though, the food was SO good!! Thanks mom for watching the kids for us!!
