33

Yikes! That's me today, 33. I am actually quite comfortable with this age since I'm not quite considered mid 30's yet!

Unfortunately my day has been a bit sidetracked with a puking boy:( Little Mark started throwing up around 8 last night and continued on and off until midnight or so. It was so, so, so sad. When we went up to bed around 10:30 he was laying on the stairs with his pj shirt crumpled up in his hands (because he had puked on it) and when I asked him if he was ok he just said nothing , just hugged me. And then after a minute he looked up with this scared look in his eyes and said "Mommy I need to go to the Dr!". I think he was freaking out a little. The first time he threw up he thought he was in trouble for 'spitting' but we explained to him the difference, but I think it still wierded him out. He just happened to get puke on everything too. His pillow, bed, blankets and floor (along with himself and his hair)! After we got him cleaned up I let him lay in my bed with me (loved snuggling him by the way) but he just wasn't settling down. So I picked him up and took him to his room and just as we stepped in there he threw up again, with only a little bit landing on me. I think it happened again just after midnight but Mark got up for that one and so I'm not sure exactly what happened. Do you love the detailed play by play?! He's been better today but I'm assuming that he caught what Annie had a couple days ago and that Elizabeth will be catching the same thing any minute now!

I told the kids they had to be extra nice to me today. It wasn't really working until quiet/nap time. I reminded Elizabeth that it was my birthday and so she threw no screaming tantrum in her room!! (this is major since she has been going totally crazy in there for the past 2 days) She played quietly and happily for 40 minutes! And Mark and Annie slept.

Thanks to my hubby for making my day and week super awesome!!!!!

They can't take their eyes off that cake!!!
 There we go...kind of.

I got an AWESOME gift from Mark....new PLATES!!!! They are dark red and I love them!!
