The babies got their first stomach flu!!!! I think they picked it up from our favorite coffee shop/play area:( Well Elizabeth did and then passed it on to Mark, which makes sense because she still likes to chew on everything! Elizabeth has had it for about 5 days and is showing signs of possibly getting better...she has had diarrhea and threw up only once...all over me!!!! And Mark decided to have his first major blowout of his life at church while we were visiting Jake and Angela on Sunday! It was a 2 person job so we had to take him out to the car, strip him down and then put him in his car seat with nothing but his diaper and blanket and drive back to Jake's. We had no extra clothes with us! At one point in the chaotic change we had to make him stand on the pavement totally nakey while he screamed because it was cold out and we had to clean the changing pad of his poop! It was EVERYWHERE!!! Good thing no one was around! But they fell asleep once we started driving and then he was fine for the rest of the day.

Other than the poop fest we had a GREAT time at Jake and Angela's! They had yummy food, Mark and I even got to watch an entire movie while the babies slept and played with all the new toys. It was the first time we finished a movie in...well I can't remember! The cousins all loved playing together. My favorite parts of the day were when Jena (5) asked if I loved all 3 of my babies and if we were friends...cause she is friends with her one baby (sis) and Shaylynne. Then Shay(2) sauntered across the dining room to where I was sitting with Elizabeth on my lap and kept saying in the lowest voice she could (which wasn't low at all:) ' I'm going to get you Elizabeth, I'm going to get you'! And sweet Kayla (1) kept touching Elizabeth's curls on the back of her head and if Mark or Elizabeth was standing on the couch she would come up behind them and try to look at their faces. When they wouldn't turn around she tried to make them turn, it was so funny! Kayla is a dancing machine and it was the best when she would get both arms swinging side to side as fast and as far as they would go! Thanks guys for the fun (and smoothies, yum!).
Here is Mark's Blue Steel:
Actually he was just eating a cold smoothie, this is his usual face:
And best picture of the day goes to Shay Shay!!!!!
Kayla LOVES to be thrown up by her daddy!! Look at the joy on her face:
Love that smile and those dimples!
Then Uncle Mark tried to do the back flip with her that he usually does with Little Mark...but she wasn't too sure about it!
Runner up for best picture is Elizabeth. She HATES being thrown, in fact in this picture she wasn't even catching any air, we just hold her up and she freaks out! Sorry to do this to you baby, I just had to get 1 picture of your funny little freak out face! We love you!!
In other news...I had my root canal today and it was just as horrible as I imagined! I was gagging and uncomfortable and it took 3 hours!!! The dentist had at least 8 other people he was working on so there was a lot of waiting. I finally told my sweet assistant that I was not doing good (that's all I could mumble out since they had my mouth pried open, what I really wanted to say was I am about to rip this crap out of my mouth and barf all over!). She was trying to work as fast as she could and even got help from the other assistants. And I can't get my cap on for another month, let's hope this temporary last that long! I'm glad to have that nightmare over and now we can focus on fun stuff like this Thursday when we get to see the baby and find out what the heck this one is! Don't forget to put your guess in the poll on the top right of the screen. And then we are hoping to have a birthday party for the twins on Saturday at my brothers, although we got word today that there may be some really bad sickness going on at that house with my nephew Liam. Either way, Mark's birthday week starts today and the twins starts Thursday! We always have some birthday fun that starts a week before the actual birthday. Basically I will be busy trying to do and think of special things for all the members of my family, yikes, this could be a busy but fun 10 days!

P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY AWESOME SIS IN LAW ANGELA!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Sunny Saturday in January? What?!!!

Last Saturday was the first time we had seen the sun and blue sky in what felt like FOREVER!!!!! It is so intoxicating and I refused to spend one second inside! So...we went for a drive. We stopped at the Seattle LDS temple so the kids could see the water and stuff.
Isn't that blue sky amazing?
Me and Elizabeth:
A blurry but still cute picture of me and Mark Mark:
The '4' of us!
Enjoying the Vitamin D fix and the water!
Then we decided to drive to Snoqualmie Falls but the kids fell asleep before we got there. So...I tortured Mark into driving to the outlet mall so that I could shop while he sat/drove/slept in the car with the babies!! I had a great time, not sure if Mark could say the same though, thanks for being a supportive husband! It was getting dark but we still wanted to see the falls so we drove there thinking the kids would wake up, but they didn't. In the hopes that they would then stay asleep for the remainder of the drive home I ran out to see the falls since Mark had already seen them. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! And they stayed asleep until just before we got home:) It was the best Saturday we've had in a while around here.

A stroll.

Uh-oh, someone couldn't take the excitement of their Sunday afternoon walk with Daddy!
Not Elizabeth though, she's wide awake and smiling away!!!
