Christmas Eve day

Today we decided to go in and let the kids play at my Great Aunt Lavere's house. We were so happy to see each other, it had been too long! She hadn't even met Annie yet!! She held her the whole time and said she looks just like me:) She told Annie just how much her Great Grandma would have loved her and I know that it's true. We miss her and all our Grandma's. Mark and Elizabeth had fun playing with all the Little People toys and did very well despite all our chatting!!

We enjoyed a WONDERFUL meal made by Marjean!

Elizabeth and Mark didn't eat a bite of it! They did however enjoy crackers and yogurt.

Becky and family:

Then we got the kids ready to go in the hot tub for the first time. They played ring around the rosie while waiting and were quite excited for whatever we were about to do...

Until we tried to go outside where it was cold and the water was hot and they didn't get it. At all. Elizabeth was ok for a minute until water got on her face and then she was too cold. Little Mark wouldn't even TOUCH the water!!!

So in to the bathtub they all went, where they had a lot of fun! Then into some warm and cozy pajamas so that we could read Luke Chapter 2:And of course open our Christmas Eve pajamas (which they were slightly disapointed in, maybe it's time to ditch the pajama tradition and go with something a little more exciting??)Hopefully everyone sleeps well tonight. Merry Christmas Eve everyone!

Christmas Vacay 2011!!!

>> Friday, December 23, 2011

Today was our first full day of vacation and we had a good time! We went and visited Great Grandma Bleazard and had a nice visit, we love her!! Annie was named after her mother and we finally got a picture of the two of them together, rollers and all! Grandma said well she's going to look like she is getting her picture taken with a 100 year old lady...well, she did just turn 90 so I guess she is getting closer to 100!!! She is an amazing, sweet and wonderful Grandma.

The twins have their cousin Sarah to play with, she is just a few months younger than them:

The following pictures are blurry but too cute to not share (user's fault). Mark decided to throw the ball at Mark's face and then say catch! Once Daddy was in on the game he played catch with him and Little Mark is clearly quite confident in his throwing arm because he kept backing up and backing up every single time! Then Sarah wanted to play 'ashes' (Ring around the rosie) with Elizabeth but Elizabeth wouldn't hold her hand. Mark wanted to hold her hands but Sarah didn't want that either. So he happily played with Annie, always a willing participant!Even if she tackles him on the way down! The girls had so much fun pushing Annie in the stroller...in fact she had just as much fun being pushed! Then the bouncing ball fun happened:And slowly one by one they all had to join in!This picture is funny because Little Mark didn't want to turn his hair since Sarah's hair was in his face!Love his face!!
